Dutch passport, ID card

A Dutch passport has a validity of 5 years after issuance and is valid for travel to all countries of the world. If you are travelling to countries outside the European Union, please be aware that you might need a visa to enter the country concerned. The country of destination may require a certain validity of your passport (e.g validity should be at least 3 or 6 months). A Dutch passport remains property of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Proof of identity is the main purpose of a Dutch passport.

Dutch nationals can apply for a new passport at the Dutch Embassy in Riyadh. This can be done without making an appointment beforehand, but only on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 -12:00 am. Applications for a Dutch passport should be presented in person.
