The embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Riyadh looks after the interest of the Dutch government. To that end the embassy maintains contacts with various governmental bodies up till the highest level of the government. The main tasks of the Netherlands embassy in Saudi Arabia are in the field of politics, economy and trade, consular affairs and press and cultural affairs.

Also one of the important tasks is to protect and serve the interests of Dutch citizens, which are staying in Saudi Arabia for a shorter or longer period.
